Who Are We?

We are the California Alpha chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, commonly known as SigEp. Founded on the principles of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, we are proud to represent one of Cal’s most reputable, diverse, and close-knit brotherhoods since our establishment in 1910 at UC Berkeley. SigEp enables development through our signature Balanced Man Program, fostering a continuous four-year development of both Sound Mind and Sound Body.

Ranging from different majors and interests, we align ourselves with a common goal and purpose, leaving college equipped for future success. Brothers graduate with enhanced leadership skills, tangible personal development, a family of friendship and brotherhood, and memories to last a lifetime. We maintain our diverse brotherhood network after graduation as well. Our alumni pursue exciting careers in technology, finance, research, business, medicine, government, service, and many more. The SigEp alumni network is a powerful resource for brothers to seek networking and employment opportunities.
